The Sirleaf Collection

This year our nod to Black History Month began with fabric donated by our lovely seamstress Nicole after a friend working in Liberia first gifted it to her. We decided to name this collection: Sirleaf, last name of the first female president of Liberia.

If you've been with us for a while you'll know that each year we give a different take on the celebration.

We've previously worked with Artist Cue Perry to create a collection of hand-painted bowties:

.....and also collaborated with Naomi Chambers . Her take on black history was rooted in healing and black love. This inspired her to create super fun bowties with her signature applique & mixed media approach she brings to all of her work.

"This year we designed a simple yet thoughtful collection that speaks our everyday, casual bowtie customer. "
