Darrell Kinsel: Pgh Native,Schenley Grad, Artist, Activist, Cofounder of BOOM Concepts ,Board of Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse has returned to Knotzland for a second collaboration collection :Elements: a Conceptual Journey through the idea of inclusivism, and fostering a sustainable future on the basis of protecting the Globe and all of its Matter.
The original Knotz "Kinsel Collection", released as a 12 piece collection [Período Azul: inspired by Picasso's The Blue Period July 2015] & sold out within a week of its release.
D.S. Kinsel's work is a reflection of his race, culture, and generation. He strives to encourage audiences to reevaluate their ideas of fine art. His work shows in a number of venues across Pittsburgh including Future Tenant, Shaw Galleries, ASSEMBLE and ImageBox. Popular online artists blogs Hyperallergic Labs, 7 Shades of Black, and the Jenesis Magazine have helped spread his work to a larger audience. Pittsburgh City Paper has ranked Kinsel's Twitter profile the 3rd best in the city and has also been a recipient of the New Pittsburgh Courier "Fab 40" Award and a Pittsburgh Magazine 40 Under 40 honoree.
